Why executive function matters in early recovery
Early recovery isn't just an emotional rebuild — it's a neurological one. Planning, working memory, time perception and emotion regulation all come back online slowly. We build the external structure that holds your day while your brain catches up.
Frequently asked
Is this a substitute for treatment or a 12-step program?
No. Executive function coaching is an aftercare and life-rebuilding partner that complements treatment, therapy and recovery community — it doesn't replace any of them.
When in recovery should I start?
Most clients come to us in the first 6–24 months, when the brain's planning, follow-through and emotion-regulation systems are still rebuilding. We meet you wherever you are.
Do you coordinate with my treatment team?
With your written consent, yes. We can align on goals, pacing and aftercare structure so your support system isn't pulling in different directions.
