Our terms, in plain language.

MEC provides executive function coaching, group coaching, workshops, and consulting. Our work is built around understanding how your brain works and creating practical systems that fit you.

Coaching is not therapy or medical care. Our coaching services are educational and supportive. They are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, or diagnosis, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed health or mental health professional. If you are working with a therapist, doctor, or other provider, we encourage you to continue that care. We may refer you to outside professionals when it seems helpful, but we are not responsible for the services those professionals provide.

If you are in crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. Our coaching services and text messages are not monitored for emergencies.

You must be at least 18 years old to book services or create an account with us. Youth programs require a parent or legal guardian to register, provide consent, and agree to these Terms on the young person's behalf.

Fees for individual coaching, group programs, and workshops are listed on our website or in your service agreement, and are due at the time of booking unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

Packages and memberships must be used within the timeframe stated at purchase. Unused sessions expire after that timeframe unless we agree otherwise.

We may update our pricing at any time. Changes won't affect services you have already paid for.

Individual sessions: You must give 48 hours notice to cancel and/or reschedule. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full or counted as used. Details specific to the individual package you purchased are further detailed in the agreement you sign beginning services.

Group programs and workshops: Fees are non-refundable once the program begins. If you cancel at least 7 days before the start date, we will offer a credit toward a future program.

If we need to cancel: We will reschedule at no cost to you or refund the session fee.

We know life happens, especially when executive function challenge is part of the picture. If something comes up, reach out and we will do our best to work with you.

Our group spaces work best when everyone feels safe. By joining a group session, you agree to:

• Keep what other participants share confidential, and not record, screenshot, or share other participants' names, images, or stories.
• Treat others with respect. We may remove anyone from a group session or program, without refund, for harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior.
• While we ask everyone to honor confidentiality, we can't guarantee that every participant will do so. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing.

Many of our sessions take place online through video platforms such as Zoom. You are responsible for having a reliable internet connection and a private space for your sessions. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by technology outside our control, but we will work with you to reschedule if a session is significantly disrupted on our end.

MEC offers text messaging for appointment reminders, session links, and program updates. By opting in through our website forms or by texting START to 512.298.5886, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Magnetic Energy Consulting at the number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

• You can cancel at any time by replying STOP. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent. To rejoin, reply START.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All content on our website and in our programs, including handouts, worksheets, workbooks, videos, recordings, frameworks, and branding, belongs to Magnetic Energy Consulting or is used with permission. You may use materials we give you for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, distribute, or use them to teach or coach others without our written permission.

Coaching is a partnership, and results depend on many factors, including your own effort and circumstances. While we are committed to supporting you, we cannot guarantee any particular outcome, such as changes in productivity, employment, income, or wellbeing.

Please use our website lawfully. You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt to access areas you are not authorized to use, or submit false information. Our website may include links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Information on our website and social media is for general educational purposes and is not personalized advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEC and its owners, coaches, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service that gave rise to the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. Continuing to use our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas.
